The Foreign Ministry assures that Ukraine makes every effort to sign the Association Agreement with the EU in Vilnius. This was stated by director of the information policy department of the Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis at a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We make every effort for the Association to be signed, and we hope that Europe has the same approach, as it is a matter of strategic importance both for Ukraine and the EU," he said.
According to him, Kyiv hopes that the European side will show an integrated approach to assessing the state of readiness of Ukraine for implementing the criteria for accession to the EU.
