
In Ukraine, the number of emergency situations has decreased, head of the State Service for Emergency Situations Mykhailo Bolotskykh told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports
"We analyzed the work of our structure for 10 months. Today, we can note that there is a positive downward trend in the total number of emergencies registered in accordance with the classifications. This is a decrease by 34% compared to last year. This year, the emergencies have killed Ukrainians by 26% less," he said.
According to him, work to prevent fires in open countryside gave its results.
