
The working group, dealing with development of the bill on the treatment of prisoners abroad has announced a break from work until 4:30 p.m., not taking any decision, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, the group members did not decide what bill should be taken as a basis.
Representatives of the opposition offered to take as a basis the bill, which suggests amending the Article 84 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the MP from the "Batkivshchyna" faction Andriy Kozhemyakin, the bill, offered by opposition, provides the convict with the right to undergo treatment abroad, if he was constantly in day care outside the prison within 365 days, and this treatment did not lead to complete recovery.
In addition, he said, the application must be accompanied by a letter from the foreign medical institutions with consent to take the convicted person for treatment.
Representatives of the majority refused to accept this bill as a basis.
