If Ukraine does not sign the Association Agreement with the European Union, the end of the world will not happen, chairman of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said in an interview with "LIGABusinessInform"
"We will lose a historic opportunity. Of course, it will be bad for both Ukraine and the EU. But the end of the world will not happen. But we, at least, will respect ourselves for that we are a state, not a puppet," the politician said.
According to him, Ukraine has done everything that the European Union required. "The European politicians must pay a little attention to the fact that we are a state and we have our own laws. But not, they want only to release Tymoshenko," the MP said.
In his opinion, if the Ukrainian opposition wanted to join the EU, it would try to delete Tymoshenko’s issue from the list of claims.
