Implementation of European integration aspirations of Ukraine will facilitate the improvement of people's lives, President Viktor Yanukovych stated at the meeting with workers of culture and art, the press service of the Head of State reports.
"The aim of European integration is to achieve the best results in all parameters: economy, social sphere, life quality, healthcare and education," the Head of State noted.
"The issue of European integration is our homework. We must rebuild our country so that it can meet the best world criteria of life quality. We must define and strive for them," Yanukovych said.
According to him, the implementation of reforms in different spheres is the mechanism to achieve the given task.
"We must lay the foundation of respective reforms. Modernization should be constant," the President emphasized.
According to the Head of State, the state has already done a lot on the way of reformation. Particularly, the legislation in the sphere of human rights protection is being improved. Also, the work on the establishment of favorable conditions for the economic development is continued.
Speaking of the implementation of economic reforms, the President drew attention to the importance of approving respective laws and proper funding of the planned programs.
