Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko should appeal to the European community and ask to remove her issue from the requirements for signing the Association Agreement with the EU, chairman of the Parliament’s regulations committee, MP from the Party of Regions, Volodymyr Makeyenko told ForUm correspondent.

"I think Tymoshenko should address the EU and ask to sing the association agreement in Vilnius, to give Ukraine a historic opportunity. She is to do so, if she really loves Ukraine. Otherwise, a lot of bills will be registered, but I doubt their effectiveness," he said.

In addition, Makeyenko advises Tymoshenko not to hope for the opposition in adopting legislation on treatment of prisoners abroad. "As soon as she is in Germany, she will call them for conversation, which nobody wants," he said.
