The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will develop programs of social protection of veterans, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening a government meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I once again realized that initiatives taken yesterday by the President of Ukraine, when asked the government to develop new programs for social protection and support for veterans, were very necessary and deeply humane. The programs aim to improve their living conditions and medical care and provide daily and continuous social care," he said.
According to Azarov, the government will do everything to solve the problems of veterans.
"I instruct the Ministries of Health, Social Policy and Regional Development, Construction and Housing, as well as the heads of regional administrations to develop such programs, which we will begin to implement next year," the Prime Minister instructed.
