Under conditions of slowing down of investment activity in the world Ukraine must strengthen the status of a European breadbasket, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov announced in the course of a regional sitting of the World Economic Forum "Strategic dialog on the future of Ukraine" in Kyiv.
"The environmental assets of Ukraine draw interest of foreign investors. Modernization will make this potential a powerful factor of growth. Hence, the stake is placed on the policy of presidential reforms, modernization policy," he said.
According to Serhiy Arbuzov, the development of Ukraine depends on external and internal factors.
"Now we see weakening of global investment activity. Where is the way of Ukraine in this situation? In furthering the course of reforms and strengthening the status of a European breadbasket," the first vice Prime Minister emphasized.
