The National Bank of Ukraine initiated to create a website to promote financial literacy, director of the Department for International Relations of the National Bank of Ukraine Serhiy Kruhlyk said during the roundtable, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the financier, it should be a separate website, it should not be connected with existing one or prospective professional websites for financial experts.
"It’s supposed to help people in planning personal and family budget, savings, personal investments and their directions, etc. These are simple and important tasks that not every citizen is able to solve them himself," the specialist said.
He added that financial education should begin in childhood and then develop. In general, Ukraine should develop and adopt a strategy for financial literacy.
