
Ukraine signed a production sharing agreement (PSA) with the U.S. oil company Chevron, which, according to Ukrainian officials, plans to invest about $10 billion in the production of hydrocarbons in the western regions of the country.
This was announced by energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavytsky at a press briefing at the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
The document was signed by Eduard Stavytsky and CEO of the company "Chevron Europe Exploration and Production" Derek Dupree Magness.
