Ukraine actively works to find and introduce new mechanisms of improving the regulatory policy, President Viktor Yanukovych stated at the plenary session of the Council of National and Foreign Investors on the topic "Investments in the Development of Economy and Social Sphere in Conditions of FTA with the EU", the press service of the head of state reports.

"We are establishing transparent and unbiased conditions for business. We have already improved the licensing system," the Head of State noted.

According to him, Ukraine has already reduced the number of permits, introduced the declarative principle and the principle of implied consent while receiving permits, the provision of permits only in the specialized centers under the principle of "single window", determined criteria and frequency of scheduled inspections of businesses.

"In order to reduce administrative pressure on business, we have already eliminated the majority of duplicating functions of state bodies. This work will be continued in the framework of administrative reform," Viktor Yanukovych assured.

He stressed that the government paid particular attention to the establishment of efficient mechanism of property rights protection. "It is one of the main directions in reformation of law enforcement bodies and judiciary," the President noted.

According to him, the new edition of the law on public prosecution and the amendments to the Constitution that would increase the independence of judges from political influence have already passed the expertise and have been approved by the Venice Commission.

"These amendments will protect the business from illegal court decisions and pressure from the law enforcement officials," the Head of State said.
