Ukraine pays much attention to improving the quality of drinking water, ecology and natural resources minister of Ukraine Oleg Proskuriakov said at the IX International Congress "Institutional and Technical Aspects of Housing and Communal Services Reform", ForUm correspondent reports.
"The issue of water quality is the key one in human life, so the year 2013 was declared the Year of Water Cooperation. One can live without the blessings of civilizations, energy resources, but he will not survive without water. Conservation of water resources and their quality is a top-priority question in the world, that’s why Ukraine pays great attention to it," the minister assured.
In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Ivan Pochuh noted that 10 Czech firms are willing to offer Ukraine innovative solutions for the treatment of drinking water, waste water treatment and distribution.
