
Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytsky said that the issue of paying an $882 million debt for supplies of Russian gas in August will be settled by Ukraine on Monday, the Fifth TV Channel said on its Web site, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"I want to stress that the issue [of paying the debt] is actually resolved and on Monday you'll get to know everything," he told the Fifth TV Channel during the football tournament between ministers and lawmakers.
As reported, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said on October 29 that Ukraine had not paid the $882 million it owes for gas delivered in August 2013.
