On November 1, first Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov met with Ambassador of United States Geoffrey R. Pyatt, the press service of the Cabinet reports.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, Ukraine's preparations for the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius and the state of negotiations with the IMF.
Geoffrey Pyatt announced the support of measures taken by the government of Ukraine on the European integration direction. They also discussed policy of reforms aimed at improving of the economic environment and the deregulation of business in Ukraine. The U.S. side welcomed the rapid increase ofUkraine's rating in the latest Doing Business ranking of the World Bank.
