In October, Ukraine imported from Europe in reverse direction about 235.9 million cubic meters of natural gas, which is by 31.3% less than in September (343.2 million cubic meters according to Ukrtransgaz).
Ukraine received 222.1 million cubic meters of gas through Hungary and 13.8 million cubic meters through Poland.
From October 1 to 25, Ukraine did not get gas through Poland, as the National Joint Stock Company "Naftogaz of Ukraine" refused to import due to high prices compared to gas at the border of Ukraine and Russia.
In total, for 10 months of 2013, Ukraine received about 1 724 9 million cubic meters of gas from Europe, including 822.9 million through Poland and 902 million through Hungary.
