The Presidential Administration promises to solve problems that will arise during the implementation of the law on prosecutor's office, which President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, advisor to the President of Ukraine Andriy Portnov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Certainly, there will be problems with implementation of any new law. It always happens in Ukraine and other countries. We will solve such problems when they arise. There will be problems, but we do not call it sabotage. There can be no sabotage. If the law operates in Ukraine, it operates on the whole territory," Portnov said.
As an example, he recalled the implementation of the Criminal Procedure Code in Ukraine. "Everyone expected the sabotage. But now the half of suspected people in non-violent crimes is out of prison. The Code of Criminal Procedure was implemented, although there were pessimistic expectations," he recalled.
