Ukraine and Argentina have great potential for cooperation in the field of agriculture, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Argentina to Ukraine Lila Roldan Vazquez de Moine told journalists in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Rural economies of our countries are very similar, and we have great opportunities for cooperation," she said.
According to him, Ukraine has already experienced Argentine technologies. "They were widely recognized in terms of saving human resources and in terms of production cost," the ambassador said.
She also hopes that in the future Ukraine will implement its plans to increase grain production using Argentine technology. "Ukraine has great plans - to reach production of 70 million tons of grain. We hope that such a leap in production will occur with the use of Argentine agricultural machinery and technology," the ambassador summed up.
