Prime Minister Mykola Azarov noted the progress of Ukraine in the Doing Business ranking, he told media on Tuesday, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

"I am pleased that we have upped by 28 positions in this ranking and that since 2010 Ukraine has made an extremely huge step forward. It proves that despite all the difficulties with realization of reforms an objective evaluation of the Word Bank witnessed that we take leading positions in the area of regulatory reforms. It is pleasant," Mykola Azarov said.

At the same time he emphasized the Cabinet of Ministers wasn’t fully satisfied by pace of transformations directed to deregulation. "Much hasn’t been done yet and we are not satisfied ourselves how transformations are carried out. Unfortunately, we still face administrative pressure on business a lot. However, ranking of the World Bank is the proof that Ukraine is on the right way and there is no alternative to it," the Prime Minister stressed.

Moreover, he accentuated that Ukraine was making reforms not in order to take certain place in rankings but primarily to simplify conditions of making business and ensure growth of foreign investments.
