The new law changes the requirements to securities depositories, as well as the functioning of the financial market infrastructure.
"All improvements and amendments take into account the best regulations, worked out in Europe. Moreover, in Europe it will be realized only next year, in the document called "CSD regulation", while in Ukraine the law is about to come into force. The fact that we have already adopted similar law has surprised our European colleagues. How come Ukraine has managed to adopted the most advanced law ahead of Europe, they say," the official said.
