The summit of the heads of CIS states is opening in Minsk, ForUm correspondent reports.

The participants will discuss a number of economic questions, humanitarian issues and crime problems. The agenda includes 14 issues, including preparations to the celebration of 70th anniversary of victory in the WWII. It is also planned to approve joint international programs on cooperation in fighting terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, criminally, human trafficking.  

The head of CIS states are also expected to approve the Agreement on establishment of the Interstate council on fighting corruption and cyber crimes.

President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev ahs not arrived for the summit and did not take part in yesterday's sitting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Instead, Kyrgyzstan is represented by the first vice prime minister Djoomart Otorbayev.
