Agricultural policy and food minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk is concerned that the composition of inspection team, which arrived in Ukraine from Russia to test factories of Ukrainian confectionery products, includes representatives of the Russian confectionery companies, he told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I do not understand why this group has competitors - representatives of the Russian chocolate companies. Is that a food inspection or food espionage? I do not understand this, and I will speak on this issue with Gennady Onishchenko (Rospotrebnadzor head- Ed.)," Prysiazhniuk said.
At the same time, he is sure that the inspectors will make a positive decision on the Ukrainian sweets. "Yesterday the inspection team worked, today it continues its work, of course, we are confident that the results will be positive," the minister noted.
On October 21, the Rospotrebnadzor specialists began checking Ukrainian confectionaries of the Roshen corporation.
