The Party of Regions faction is ready to support the draft bill of non-factional MP Serhiy Mishchenko on treatment of convicts abroad, faction leader Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing, ForUm's correspondent reports.
"We have some amendments to make, but in general the Party of Regions agrees to approve the draft bill as a basis," he said.
Speaking about the draft bill on so-called "Polish scenario", Yefremov specified that it will be adopted only if the full opposition vote for it. "But if we see that the opposition does not want to solve the issue, we do not have any votes for it. You know that communist will never vote for this draft bill."
