The President stressed the importance of interregional cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic, the press service of the President reported.
In the course of his speech at the Ukrainian-Czech business-forum, the Head of State stressed that the Ukrainian-Czech cooperation of regions and cities will facilitate the solution of regional problems and develop small and medium business.
"Unleashing the potential of regions is a very important aspect that will bring business closer to the reality and create conditions for the solution of regional problems," Viktor Yanukovych said.
According to the President, small and medium business can become a basis for the implementation of large-scale projects. "Regional cooperation solves not only social issues, but also issues related to business and implementation of big investment projects. Small and medium business can create flexible systems aimed at the fulfillment of certain tasks of big investment projects," he noted.
Viktor Yanukovych positively evaluated documents signed in the course of the official visit of Czech President to Ukraine.
"I am glad that our Chambers of Commerce and Industry have signed joint documents and found an opportunity to urge Ukrainian and Czech businessmen to assemble and discuss issues of mutual interest," the Head of State stressed.
