Finance minister of Ukraine Yuri Kolobov and Czech ambassador to Ukraine Ivan Počuch have signed a protocol to the Intergovernmental double tax treaty and prevention of tax evasion, ForUm's correspondent reports.
The document provides for amendments to text on taxation and information exchange, including renaming of taxes, subjected to the treaty; amendments to the text of the treaty in force regarding articles on permanent delegation, pensions, double taxation and discrimination.
The protocol also exempts from taxation of interest rates, receivers and economic owners of which include governments of the contracting states, national banks of Ukraine and Czech Republic, Sberbank and Ukrexsimbank of Ukraine and Czech Export Bank and Export Insurance Company of Czech Republic, owned or controlled by the governments of the contracting state.
