Parliament’s speaker Volodymyr Rybak declares that if the Verkhovna Rada adopts the law on treatment of prisoners abroad, he will immediately send it to the President for signature, the speaker told reporters at a briefing in Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

Rybak stressed that the Parliament has formally the opportunity to pass such bill this week. "We can include it in the agenda any day," he said.

At the same time, Rybak expressed opinion that the Verkhovna Rada has no understanding regarding possible pardon of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko. "I can see that there is understanding in the Parliament regarding the issue on treatment abroad, but not on pardon," he stressed.

According to Rybak, it is necessary for parliamentarians to coordinate their positions on this issue.
