Arbuzov: Coming Association with EU unites Ukraine
The European integration course of Ukraine is supported by almost all the political forces and the civil society. Some disagreements in single issues do not hamper joint actions in the direction of association with the EU, first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov said during the meeting in Brussels with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle.

"I am confident that intensification of our bilateral dialogue with the European Union will remove all obstacles to the signing of the Agreement. Ukraine continues applying efforts to make progress on all of the criteria of the document signing," press office of the first vice PM quoted Arbuzov.
He noted that among the main priorities is improving the electoral laws, justice reform, fighting corruption, improving the business climate.

"We realize the amount of work still to be done. This is a set of reforms in the years to come. However, I want to emphasize that the reform process has become irreversible," first vice Prime Minister of Ukraine assured.

He added that Ukraine expects a positive decision of the EU Council on signing the agreement and determining the scope of its provisional application.

Arbuzov also believes that another important priority for Ukraine's relations with the EU is the successful promotion of visa-free dialogue. Amendments to the agreement on visa facilitation have entered into force since July 1. That was another step on the way to achieving the strategic goal - the introduction of the EU visa-free regime for the citizens of Ukraine.

"The Government and the Parliament conduct active work to achieve the goal," Arbuzov said.
