Agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk hopes that Ukrainian confectionery, in particular that of the Roshen production, will be eligible for export to the Russian Federation from November 1.
 
"I hope that our products will have the right to export from November 1, and Russian consumers will have opportunity to enjoy it," Prysiazhniuk told a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
 
The minister hopes for a speedy resolution of this issue, as the Russian Federation has not put forward official complaints about Ukrainian confectionery products.
 
"Thanks to the firm position of the Prime Minister, the protocol (signed during the visit of Mykola Azarov to Kaluga - Ed.) stipulates that the Russian federation should hold inspections of our labs and enterprises within October 17 - November, and provide their vision on supplies to the Russian market," the minister said.
