Yanukovych complains about the lack of motivation for farmers

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stressed the importance of developing farm enterprises and family farms, he stated at the meeting of the Council of Regions in Boryspil, the press service of the head of state reports.

"Today, we are pretty much carried away with large-scale production while farms are abandoned to their fate – there is no enough attention from the government," Viktor Yanukovych noted.

The Head of State noted that there were absolutely no motivations for farmers in Ukraine. It leads to the inhibition of farm enterprises' development and affects the export potential of the country.

"Farms ensure the biggest number of jobs. We should remember this fact," the President said.
