The State Property Fund expects the foreign companies to have more realistic views of the value of Ukrainian enterprises after the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union. This was stated by the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Oleksandr Ryabchenko on the air of the First National Channel.

He noted that foreign companies usually undervalue Ukrainian enterprises by 30%.

Ryabchenko also noted that the SPF believes sale of control packet of shares to be of a higher priority than that of small ones.

"We want to see the owner of a controlling stake, as he is responsible for the operation of the enterprise as a whole," Ryabchenko said.

He stressed that the owner, who has signed the contract, can be hold accountable for the undertaken duties.
