The European Parliament's monitoring mission in Ukraine led by politicians Aleksander Kwasniewski and Pat Cox, has been extended until mid-November, President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz stated in Brussels on Tuesday.
"We decided to prolong the mission until mid-November," he said.
According to him, the European Parliament will return to this issue in mid-November, particularly in the context of finding a solution to the case of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko ahead of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, at which the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement is to be signed.
