President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych invited President of Estonia Toomas Hendrik Ilves to visit Ukraine.
"I hope to welcome soon the head of the Estonian state in Ukraine. I am confident that his visit will allow reaching new practical results in various areas of our cooperation," Yanukovych said, the President’s press service reports.
According to him, Ukraine is interested in further development of political dialogue with the Republic of Estonia. The President noted that in recent years the Ukrainian- Estonian interstate contacts have significantly intensified.
Yanukovych thanked his counterpart for supporting Ukraine's European aspirations.
According to him, such assistance of Estonian partners is very important for the Ukrainian side, especially in the context of completion of the preparation for the Vilnius summit of "Eastern Partnership", at which the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement is expected to be signed.
Estonian president, in turn, said that Ukraine is the part of Europe: "History and culture of Ukraine is part of Europe. Ukraine is the part of Europe".
