This year, Ukraine expects a record grain harvest, President Viktor Yanukovych stated.
"Agricultural industry is developing very well in our country. And I believe that this year we will collect about 60 million of grain. This is the highest yield for all years," the head of state told a meeting with women Heroes of Ukraine in Kyiv on Monday
He noted that such results were obtained, in particular, due to the introduction of new modern technologies.
"Ukrainians are good farmers. The main thing is that we have a fertile land. We have a great wealth," Yanukovych said.
