Action of the all-Ukrainian campaign "Oath of UPA soldiers" takes place near the monument to Yaroslav the Wise in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent, repots. The event is attended by representatives of public organizations, veterans of the UPA, re-enactors of the liberation struggle.
In addition, the exhibition "Strength of will. Conductors of the liberation movement" is being held, showing the UPA symbols, awards the army, etc.
Veterans read the oath of soldiers and rebels’ prayer. Afterwards, they have started communicating with anybody who wants to.
The action is sparse and passes peacefully.
As a reminder, celebrations to mark the 71st anniversary of the establishment of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) are held today in Ukraine.
