Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that Ukraine has been looking for the ways to settle the situation with convicted former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
"We still have a most sensitive issue – the Tymoshenko case. But the Cox-Kwasniewski mission is working, we are working together, looking for the ways, and I hope that we will soon finally decide on the way to solve this issue," the President said at a meeting with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle in Kyiv on Friday, Interfax-Ukraine reported.
In turn, Füle also noted the importance of addressing the problem of selective justice and expressed satisfaction with the fact that the position of the President and his personal decision about this issue completely coincided.
