Mission of Ukraine to the European Union denies the alleged disruption of the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee in Strasbourg due to fault of the Ukrainian party.
As noted in the statement of the Mission, "the event, held in Strasbourg on October 9, was the meeting of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with Ukraine, in other words - the meeting of the European membership of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee. The format of the meeting did not provide for the participation of members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
"Therefore, it is simply incorrect to say that the Ukrainian side boycotted the meeting of October 9 in Strasbourg," Mission of Ukraine says.
