The Coordination Council for the Development of Civil Society is to adopt and submit to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych the concept of civil society in Ukraine by the end of this year.
This was announced by chairman of the Coordinating Council, advisor to the President of Ukraine - head of the Main Department of the Administration of the President on constitutional and legal modernization Maryna Stavniychuk, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The concept is associated with an understanding of approaches to the implementation of the system of democracy in Ukraine. Discussion of the concept will last one month. In December, the Council is to meet, approve proposals and submit the concept to the President," she said.
Stavniychuk stressed that society should be involved in the conduct of public affairs according to the European standards.
