Ukraine is planning to extend visa-free stay for Turkish citizens to 60 days, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych told journalists on Wednesday following the third meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish High-Level Strategic Council.
"I think that in the near future it will be extended to at least 60 days," he said.
Yanukovych recalled that Turkey has extended visa-free stay for Ukrainians to 60 days, while in Ukraine it is still 30 days.
The President stressed that the decision to introduce a visa-free regime between Ukraine and Turkey has made a very important contribution to the development of business contacts between the countries.
