More than 70% of administrative reports against minors are drawn up for smoking and heavy drinking, deputy chief of the main department for protection of rights and freedoms of children of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine Mykhailo Kundenko told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to Kundenko, the rest of offenses include petty thefts and disorderly conduct, as well as drug trafficking.
The representative of the Prosecutor General's Office said that the police often violate the rights of minors and do not pay enough attention to control of the illegal sale of alcohol and tobacco to children.
