Russian gas monopoly "Gazprom", with the knowledge of the Russian government, gave Ukraine a discount on injecting gas into underground storage facilities. The gas price made up about $ 260 per thousand cubic meters.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bali.
"Gazprom", with the knowledge of the Russian leadership, helped Ukraine to inject the desired volumes of gas into underground storage facilities at a discount – for about $260 per thousand cubic meters. The gas price for Ukraine has been recently $400, now it has dropped to 380-390 dollars. We made discount on gas injection into underground storage facilities," Putin told a news conference on Tuesday.
