Ukrainian MPs congratulated leader of the UDAR faction Vitali Klitschko on victory of his brother Vladimir over Alexander Povetkin in a boxing match.
As ForUm correspondent reports, congratulation was initiated by leader of the Party of Regions Oleksandr Yefremov during the conciliation board.
"I want to congratulate Vitali on the victory of his brother in a boxing match. Many Ukrainians were interested in this fight, and I am glad that our athlete, moreover brother of our colleague, gained the victory," he said.
The proposal was supported by Parliament’s chairman Volodymyr Rybak, who called on conciliation board to congratulate Klitschko with applause.
In addition, Yefremov said that, in his opinion, it is necessary to amend the law on athletes’ employment.
