Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine Mykhailo Okhendovsky hopes that this plenary week the Verkhovna Rada will pass the bill on funding early elections in five troubled constituencies.

"The CEC has no means for the preparation and holding of elections. However, we have the reason to hope that the bill, introducing amendments to the Law “On State Budget for 2013” will be included in the agenda and passed at the next sitting of the Verkhovna Rada, October 8, " he said in interview with "Kommersant-Ukraine".

"According to our calculations, the elections in five constituencies will cost about 20 million UAH - about 4 million for each. The amounts vary depending on the number of polling stations, the number of members of election commissions, which will participate in the organization, preparation and conduct of elections," the chairman of the Central Election Commission concluded.
