On the eve of the Teacher’s Day, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych congratulated the winners of the "Teacher of the Year - 2013" contest.
"I would like to sincerely congratulate you on the coming holiday and the victory in the All-Ukrainian contest "Teacher of the Year - 2013". You have become the leaders of this competition, it means that you're the best," Yanukovych said during a meeting with the winners of the competition.
Teacher's Day is a national holiday, the President said. "All of our teachers are the best of the best. We are grateful to them for revealing to us the world of knowledge. They have laid the foundation for our life victories", Yanukovych said.
The President presented state awards to the winners of the contest "Teacher of the Year - 2013".
The participants, in turn, thanked the President for the attention to the profession of teacher.
