The preparations for the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, at which an Association Agreement is expected to be signed between Ukraine and the European Union, are going to schedule, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov declared during his meeting with former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and former European Parliament President Pat Cox in Kyiv on Friday, the premier’s press service reported.

"The preparations in Ukraine for the summit are going according to the plans that we agreed with the European Commission," Azarov said, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

The Prime Minister also said that the Cabinet had already finished an economic analysis of all the possible consequences of the establishment of a free trade area with the EU.
