The state of heating systems but not the price for gas causes the greatest concern in the new heating season, former representative of the President of Ukraine on energy issues Bohdan Sokolovsky and head of the Kyiv International Energy Club Oleksandr Todiychuk told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We need to be afraid of the state of our heating systems but not of the gas prices," Sokolovsky said.
According to the experts, the technical condition of heating systems leaves much to be desired, and the state of their deterioration can indeed create problems.
In turn, the head of the Kyiv International Energy Club noted that most of the heating systems are still open, they are being repair, but the government informs about 98.5% readiness.
