Ukraine and Russia will hold a series of consultations, including at the level of Foreign Ministers, on the issue of Kyiv participation in the Customs Union before the summit of "Eastern Partnership", which will be held in November in Vilnius, state secretary and deputy foreign minister Grigory Karasin told RIA Novosti.

"As for the bilateral contacts, we have planned a quite extensive agenda. In mid-October, there will a meeting in Kaluga within the large Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission at the level of Prime Ministers. This will be an economic committee. At the end of October, a subcommittee on international issues is scheduled in Rostov-on-Don. At the end of October, a bilateral inter-parliamentary meeting is planned in Dnipropetrovsk," he said.

According to Karasin, Moscow hopes that arguments of the Russian party will be perceived correctly in Kyiv.

The diplomat said that the issue of the Customs Union and Ukraine's participation in it will be surely discussed in the course of these negotiations.
