Police arrested two members of the opposition, protesting outside the Kyiv City Council, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the Batkivshchyna faction member Oleksandr Bryhynets, his assistant Oleksandr Pozhyvanov and journalist and social activist Tetyana Chornovil are among detainees.
They were put in a police van and tried to take away. However, the protesters blocked its move.
The Berkut Special Forces detachment cordoned off the van and almost pushed the protesters away.
