Ukraine was denied the petition for a change of preventive measures and allowing bail for Ukrainian fisherman Oleksandr Fedorovych, who survived the incident in the Sea of Azov, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Now the case is under additional investigation in the Investigation Committee of the FSB and it has not yet been submitted to the court," Perebyinis said.
He also informed that the employee of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don yesterday arrived in Yeysk to meet with Fedorovych and his lawyer. "We plan to render him another financial aid to pay for his stay in the city of Yeysk," the spokesman added.
