Ukrainian citizen, arrested in Russia, a member of the Arctic Sunrise crew, Ruslan Yakushev suffers from chronic bronchitis, spokesman of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
"During the meeting with the Consul General, Yakushev said that he is ill with chronic bronchitis," spokesman said.
According to him, defense of the Ukrainian citizen submitted to court the relevant medical documents, but the preventive measure for sailor remained the same.
Perebyinis also noted that today the lawyer of Yakushev intends to appeal against the ruling to arrest his client for two months.
