The signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union will promote a reduction of prices in Ukraine, chairman of the board of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting Ihor Burakovsky said during presentation of the project "Economic component of the Association Agreement with the EU: Professional analysis and public discussion" ForUm correspondent reports.
"If we are talking about the impact of the Agreement on prices, then the expansion of imports and increased competition are the factors that need to reduce them. In this sense, any liberalization of the market is a way to reduce the prices or to stop their growth," he said.
He noted that each sector would have its own price dynamics.
