Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius will become a summit of results, foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara said at an informal ministerial meeting of the "Eastern Partnership", held on September 26 in the framework of general policy debate of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, ForUm learned from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
"Ukraine expects the summit in Vilnius to become a summit of results," he said.
He stressed that Ukraine expects the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU, as well as progress in the visa-free dialogue between our state and the EU.
EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule noted Ukraine's leading positions in the negotiations with the EU and stressed that the signing of the Association Agreement with Ukraine should become the main event of the Vilnius summit.
